Lee Wagner
President

A North Georgia native and Georgia Tech Engineer, Lee Wagner established R.L. Wagner Custom Homes in 1991 after gaining extensive experience from every aspect of the home building process. Lee learned the crucial details of construction by being directly involved in the building process as he worked along side the framing crews and subcontractors, acquiring an invaluable education that prepared him to efficiently, effectively, and successfully operate his own building company.

Joe Conowal
Vice President, Project Manager

Joe Conowal joined with RL Wager Custom Home in 2008. He is the Vice President and Project Manager for the company. Joe has been in home and commercial construction for the past 27 years.  Originally from Bristol, Vermont, Joe and his family moved to Northeast Georgia when he was 10 years old. Joe enjoys all outdoor activities including trout fishing, gardening, as well as his current project of remodeling his home in Gainesville.  Joe and his fiancé enjoy rescuing animals and currently own 3 dogs, 4 cats and an African Grey parrot.
  
Jiri Chlepko
BIM Developer, 3D Modeling and Design

Jiri joined the R L Wagner Custom Homes team in 2009 after working as a sub-contractor for over 9 years and brought the concept of 3D modeling and visualization to the company. He comes from Czech Republic, Europe and studied computer science and electronics  at the technology institute in his home town of Karvina. Jiri took courses in both CAD drafting and graphic design here in the US, while working on various positions in the construction industry. In 2009, Jiri combined his construction knowledge with his technological background and started 3D modeling of residential buildings here at R L Wagner Custom Homes, where he further developed the concept with help from Lee Wagner and his team. Jiri's main carrier interest remains in computer graphics for architecture, but he's not afraid to put his hands on any construction project as well. His biggest hobby is technology and he always looks forward to incorporate it within the company to improve our service and he stands behind the design of this very website. In his spare time he likes to ride his motorcycle, his bicycles, he loves to snowboard and ice skate.
Jiri lives in Buford with his fiance Irma and their Yorkshire Terrier Fido.  

DeJuan Martin

DeJuan is a 1996 graduate of Truett-McConnell College with her associate’s degree in general studies.  DeJuan has an extensive background as a professional bookkeeper.  In 1979, she began her bookkeeping career in her hometown of Toccoa, GA, with her father in the family business, and has since held three administrative assistant/clerical positions before accepting her position here in November 2000.  In 2007, her bookkeeping and accounting expertise was key in making the transition into the accounting software that the company currently uses to track very detailed job costs and related job information.   During her tenure, she has also developed organized and detailed filing systems that allow easy access to quoting and invoicing for each individual job at any given time.  DeJuan works closely with others in the company to provide them with current, accurate reports and pertinent information on each job so that they are current and up to date with the accounting status of each job at all times.

DeJuan and her husband, Ken, were married in 1989 and have two sons, one daughter-in-law, and a grandson and granddaughter.    Her hobbies include entertaining her grandchildren and spending time with her friends and family.  She also enjoys playing piano, crocheting, gourmet cooking, and baking/decorating cakes, including 3-D specialty cakes.  DeJuan and her husband are active members of Heritage Fellowship in Gainesville, where Ken serves as pastor and she is the pianist.

George is a native of North Georgia. After serving in the US Army and completing junior college he began his career in the construction industry in 1983. He worked his way through the ranks on projects ranging from luxury condominiums, production housing, high end custom homes, churches, schools, federal prisons and banks. George has been a Project Manager with RL Wagner Custom Homes since 2007 and enjoys the creative collaboration between owner,  builder, architect and designer. George is married with four children and one grandchild. They attend Mountain Lake church in Coal Mountain, GA. George is involved in youth sports and has coached baseball for many years. He views this as an opportunity to mentor young men and give back to his community.
